I'm looking for the lyrics and/or music for an old hymn for a member of my church. He sings a song he calls, "Insurance Beyond the Grave". He doesn't remember all the lyrics or the correct tune. I would love to be able to find it for him. Thank you to anyone who can help. |

Reply with quote | #2 | Verse 1:Now you can buy insurance plans to pay you when your ill. And if your Earthly home should burn a new one they will build. Insurance on your earthly wealth your silver and your gold. But read Gods book don't overlook insurance on your soul.
Chorus:Insured beyond the grave protection on your soul. When this old house your living in the hand of death may blow. Your policy may pay your friends and cover you it may. What have you got if you are not insured beyond the grave.
Verse 2:The blessed Saviour stands without and knocks upon your door. He'll enter in and set you free from sin forevermore. The only price you have to pay is humble words of prayer. Give up this world and all it's worth and be a millionaire.
I hope this helps! |

Reply with quote | #3 | My great uncle (my grandmother's) brother sings this at our family reunions and on Decoration Day. I love this song. Do you know where it came from, or who wrote it? Thank you |
