Reply with quote | #1 | Does anyone know the lyrics to the song Old time Preacher man?
It has word in it like
He said its old time power, in the old time way, old time religion that will stand this modern day.
He lifted off his tie and set his coat, and cried sinner repent and down the aisle he went.
Any help will be appreciated |

Yes old tyime preacher man is by ronny hinson; He never could stand still behind that pulpit when he spoke he had to get down on the level with the common folk;so he'd loosen up his shirt, pull off his tie,and shed his coat without eloquent speech he'd begin to preach. he said "It's old-time power in the old-time way" He taught us old-time religion would staND THIS MODERN DAY;YOU CAN CALL CHARISMATIC OR THE NAME-IT-CLAIM-IT-PLAN BUT IT'S THE SAME THING SPOKEN BY THE PROPHET JOEL AND THE OLD-TIME PREACHER MAN. His gravel voice would speak with power that no one could ignore a simple halleljah shook the windows and the door then he'd lift that bible to the sky and his foot would pound the floor cried "sinner, repent"and down the aisle they went. [bridge] so you don't need sawdust on the ground and you can play on your nine-foot grand but what you need is to heed the distant sounds of the old-time preacher man. I hope this is the one you were looking for. __________________ Darrell Hutson |
