I am searching for the name of an old song we used to sing in church when I was a LOT younger. It starts out like this: "There's within my heart a melody, Jesus whispers sweet and low. Fear not I am with thee, peace be still, in all of life's ebb and flow" What is the name of this song? I have looked at all the websites that claim to have the complete lyrics, but cannot find it at all. HELP!! __________________ Ron Stracener |

Reply with quote | #2 | The name of the song is Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Sweetest Name I know (I think)
Here's what I remember, they're may be another verse.
There's within my heart a melody, Jesus whispers sweet and low, fear not I am with thee, peace be still, in all of life's ebb and flow.
Chorus: Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, sweetest name I know. Fills my every longing, keeps me singing as I go.
Soon he's coming back to welcome me, far beyond the starry skies. I shall make my flight to world's unknown, I shall reign with him on high.
Repeat Chorus:
Hope that helps!!! |

Reply with quote | #3 | I knew the words to the song, I was wanting the NAME of the song. I think it is "Keeps Me Singing As I Go", but I am not sure. We sing one song at a Bible study class and this time I pulled out an old one. I thought I needed to find the words, but I remember all three verses precisely. I was just trying to remember the name. Thanks very much for the info. __________________ Ron Stracener |
